Tunit South East
Tunit South East is the company's first satellite branch managed directly from our headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire.
Located close to Gatwick Airport, the M23 & M25, the new Horley base is easily accessible from London and the surrounding counties. The new base continues to provide Tunit’s excellent service and customer care with Chorley Lancashire still operating as Tunit HQ. This new gateway for Southern customers to access Tunit services also provides additional support for southern agents and dealers, being able to give technical support and additional services that were originally only available at Tunit HQ, as well as holding stocks for immediate dispatch.
Tunit The Company
Tunit was founded in the year 2000 with the purpose of offering the relatively new concept of "Diesel Performance Tuning". The company saw the disadvantages of existing tuning methods on the market and took the basic principle of enhancing an engine with adjustable, externally fitted systems, added unrivalled customer service, support and after sales and ensured that these values were upheld by its network of licensees and representatives. Today the company has built a modest worldwide representation and has a healthy and prosperous growth without the aid of investors. The company comprises of a core staff of around twenty who run the Sales, After Sales, Service, R&D and Marketing departments. Our Head Quarters are based in the town of Chorley, in the heart of the industrious and prosperous North West of England. The network of licensees and distributors that carry the Tunit brand and name are trained and governed to provide the same high quality of service wherever they may be in the world.
The Principle
Tunit provides an efficient and adaptable method of enhancing a vehicle's performance (power and torque) without the need to alter the vehicle's original equipment or programming. The advantages of the Tunit are:-
- 1. Adjustment for optimum efficiency (both manually, by the customer and electronically, via a PC by a distributor).
- 2. Flexibility, as in movement from one vehicle to the next.
- 3. Ease of installation.
Further to this recent advancements have not only further improved performance but also reduced harmful exhaust emissions by up to 27% while improving fuel economy (these statements have been backed up by independent research).
The principle of Tunit is to provide all these advantages that previous methods of tuning such as EPROM replacement and "flashing" or OBD tuning could not. The Tunit performance product carries an extensive three year warranty, 1 year Engine and Driveline warranty, part exchange program and extensive after sales service.
